The app collects nothing. The website counts page views and nothing else. This page says exactly what.

The app

Zharp has no telemetry, no analytics and no account. It does not phone home. What you type stays on your machine.

It checks GitHub for a newer release. That is a plain request for a version number, the same one your browser would make.

Visits to this site

Page views are counted with Uptimix. It records the page, the referrer and a coarse country, and sets no cookie. There is no profile of you and no way to single you out.

Downloads

Installers are served from GitHub Releases. A download is a request to GitHub, and GitHub logs it under its own privacy statement.

• Uptimix, which counts page views
• The server this site runs on, and its network provider
• GitHub, when you download, open an issue or start a discussion

Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared with anyone else.

What you can ask for

There is no account and no database here, so in almost every case the answer is that nothing is held. If you think otherwise, email [email protected]. Answered within 24 hours.

Anything you post on GitHub, an issue or a discussion, is held by GitHub under their terms and is yours to edit or delete there.
