Zharp is a fast, modern terminal for Windows and macOS.
It started as a simple complaint: terminals on Windows were either showing their age or carrying a whole browser around to draw text. Zharp is the other option. Native code, GPU rendering, and a window that keeps every shell you have installed in one place.
Sessions live in a sidebar, each card showing its shell and the directory it is standing in. Zharp finds the terminals installed on your machine and lists them behind one button, so you are never hunting for the right shell.
Zharp is free during the beta and stays free after it. No license keys, no subscriptions.
Zharp collects no telemetry and does not track its users. There is no account to make, and what happens in your terminal stays on your machine.
Zharp is going open source soon. The release notes will say when it happens.
Zharp is made by one person: Claudiu.
